Students study the dynamic physical forces at work on and above the Earth's surface, which have shaped civilisation for millennia. The course will make students more aware of the interconnectedness of their surroundings and the fragility of our place on the planet.
Students will also see how elements of Human Geography are entwined with elements of Economics. Students will develop valuable skills; how to evaluate data and how to formulate factual arguments underpinned by evidence from case studies and other stimuli. Students will begin to think in a true geographical sense and the knowledge, skills and understanding students acquire will increase their employability.
In your AS course you will cover the content below for Paper 1 and Paper 2 which are examined at the end of the A2 course.
